Garland Travis - Founder/Artisan
Garland enjoys the creative process and combining various mediums to create unique objects of art or everyday purposeful items with style. He has spent the past 40 years as a U.S Government employee serving Military members and their families. During his tenure he has deployed to Bosnia, Afghanistan, and Iraq. while on active duty in the Air Force, he deployed to Turkey and was station in Germany. He founded GRT Creations to brings artist work through the public's attention though original works as well as presenting their original work on various items for everyday use as presented here.
Michael Varela-Sanchez - Artist/Co-Founder
Michael is an IT professional by day, an artist by night, and the occasional karaoke singer on weekends. Originated in El Salvador during a tumultuous time in the country's history, he moved to the U.S for a better life like many before him. When he is plagued with emotions that are difficult to express with words, he paints. Inspired by symbolism, surrealism, religion iconography, the constant search for answers, Klimt, Schile and van Gogh, he tries to convey what's is in his mind in hopes to connect with whoever tries to look.
